TechCom is an IT peripheral and consumer electronics goods company in India . TechCom mouse and PC speakers are famous in the local brand market .TechCom has now entered in to India’s one of the fastest growing and competitive market – the Mobile Phones . TechCom mobile phones are affordable price entry-level mobiles sporting dual SIM GSM feature .
“The handsets are meant for masses in urban and semi-urban areas,” said Sandeep Kedia, director of the mobile phones division in Techcom during the launch. “With a distribution network of over 100 distributors and 5000 retailers, we hope to penetrate the Indian mobile market extensively in the next six months.” The Rs 157-crore-company aims to capture 2-3 per cent of market share (in mobile handsets market) by December 2011. Techcom will provide service support for its mobile phones through its 500 service centres across the country.
Currently TechCom mobiles are entry-level but it will soon come with mobile with advanced features like 3G,Touchscreen,WiFi , etc. .
