General Motors offers 60-day money-back guarantee on its Vehicles

General Motors ,the manufacturer of the cars like Spark,Aveo,Optra,Tavera,and Captiva, are offering 60-day money-back guarantee on its Vehicles.

“We’ve got to earn the consumer’s confidence and demonstrate why buying one of our products is a wise choice, and we’re actually trying to make it a risk-free choice,” told GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz.

Consumers who buy new 2009 and 2010 vehicle models can return them with no questions asked, between 31 and 60 days of purchase, for a refund of the purchase price and sales tax. Cars cannot have more than 6,400 km on them and the owners must be current in their payments.

Only one return is allowed per household. Leased vehicles are not covered. The refund does not include equipment added outside the factory or fees charged during the purchase.


The program starts Monday (Sept.14) and runs through Nov. 30, which is the last day customers can take delivery of their new vehicles to qualify for a refund.

If cars are returned,the dealers will give refunds to consumers and will put the returned vehicles up for sale on their used car lots.

Premier RiO – Cheapest SUV from Premier Auto

The new Premier Rio is the cheapest SUV in India from the Premier Auto , the makers of the old-time popular the Premier Padmini car.The new Premier Rio is made by the Chinese automobile company the Zotye Automobile.This is the first chinese made four-wheeler vehicle in India.The Premier Rio parts will be imported from China by the Premier auto and will be assembled in its Pune plant.


The Premier Rio will come in three variants, all with power steering, central locking, front power windows, and a CD/mp3 player.Both A/C and non-A/C versions will be available.The high ground clearance in the Premier RiO will allow customers to comfortably drive on all types of roads.The company claimed mileage of the new Premier Rio is 16 KM/L.
The base model of the new Premier Rio SUV car will be around Rs.5,25,000 in India,which is about Rs.1.5 lakh cheaper the the present cheapest SUV ,the Mahindra Scorpio.
The top model,with additional safety features like air bags and anti-lock braking systems (ABS), will be priced around Rs.5,95,000 in India.
The RiO EX will cost Rs.5.25 lakh, the RiO DX will cost Rs.5.50 lakh and the top model RiO LX Rs.5.95 lakh (ex-showroom Pune).


Premier Auto will use its four-cylinder,65 bhp, 1.5 diesel engine in the Premier Rio.The Premier Rio SUV car will have smaller size than the Mahindra Scorpio.

The Premier Rio will be available in four color options: red, blue, black, white, and silver.The SUV’s deliveries are scheduled to begin in December 2009 from selected dealers.Those selected dealers name has nor been revealed yet but in starting the SUV will be rolled out in South and West India.
